2007. ТОВ „КАРПАТНАФТОХІМ” стало переможцем Всеукраїнського конкурсу якості продукції „100 кращих товарів України” в номінації „Продукція виробничо-технічного призначення”, організованому Державним комітетом України з питань технічного регулювання та споживчої політики. Process people have appreciated the advantages of a new method for products loading

In December, last year at the Unit for hydrocarbons filling of Ethylene and Polyethylene Production Facilities of «KARPATNAFTOCHIM» Ltd., was completed the restructure of pipe-rack for benzene filling. All activities for design realization were made by Kalush petrochemists through their own efforts.

At that time to a journalist of «NK» about the reasons of such restructure was informed by Roman Sluzar, a chief of that Unit of petrochemical Company. And now we are again by him…

– I’d like to note straight away, – tells Roman Igorovych, – that restructure of pipe-rack under design of specialists of Design department of Company, execution of all necessary activities for manufacturing and mounting of the equipment by workers of our Maintenance department, as well as the automated process control system for benzene filling, introduced by specialists of Instrumentation Service, and other activities, executed by the support of process staff of the Unit and of Chief energetic Department, met all our best expectations. – At present we totally made transition to a new scheme of benzene filling and can satisfy the wishes of Consumers of this product.

– What do you mean?

– Recently more often to specialists of Marketing Department and to its managers apply our partners with the request to load benzene not to the usual 60-tons cisterns, but into so-called tank-containers, to which is filled 25 tons of product. They are located on railway platform (two tank-containers per each).

The advantage of a new loading scheme is efficient both to Consumers of products and to us – its Producers. It’s because the product, loaded to tank-container, is directly coming to the addressee without the use of refilling points (marine terminals). Positive is that tank containers could be transported on railway platforms and by automobile transport.

– Do you have enough tank-containers at present, in order to secure benzene supply to the Consumers?

– For transportation of such products we have 112 tank-containers that are correspondingly located on 56 platforms. For product transportation to Consumers is formed the train, consisting of 28 platforms, one of them (see the photo) is being situated now at the Unit on the pipe-rack of products filling.

I’d also like to mention, that if at the beginning of activities for benzene filling under new scheme there were certain complications, now the staff of the Unit has totally adopted a new practice of work and people appreciated its advantages.
