«KARPATNAFTOCHIM» has purchased necessary medicaments for needs of medical centres

Last week for medical centres of main headquarter and Ethylene and Polyethylene facilities of «KARPATNAFTOCHIM» Ltd., which render service and provide medical aid to employees of the Company, was delivered the purchased consignment of required medicaments. About this was informed by Igor Melnyk, a chief of remuneration and social programs department.

– In accordance with the Agreement with Kalush municipal centre of the first medical-sanitary aid, the Company pays for services of medical workers that provide the help to employees of «KARPATNAFTOCHIM», as well as for their advanced training and for administrative expenses of these medical centres, – tells Igor Yaroslavovych. And recently according to the order of Natalia Kidashova, a head of medical centres, for service rendering to employees of the Company was procured a necessary amount of medicaments, based on annual requirement of medical centres. In total these are 95 items of medicines. For this purchase was spent more than 23 thousand UAH.

All medicaments were documented by the Parties pursuant to the corresponding Certificate of Hand-over/Acceptance and they have already been distributed among medical centres of headquarter and Ethylene and PE facilities. Besides of that, a part of the required medicines was given to Railway division of «KARPATNAFTOCHIM» Ltd for a full completeness of medical aid kits in locomotives.

At present, noted I. Melnyk, by the management of Company are being considered the offers from medical centres about the improvement of their hardware with necessary devices and instruments. Particularly there is a need in procurement of a new cardiograph, because the old one failed and is not repairable, two pulse oximeters for pulse frequency measurement and measurement of oxygen level in blood as well as glucometer for measurement of sugar level in blood.

In turn Natalia Kidashova noted that support from «KARPATNAFTOCHIM» in solution of issue concerning the procurement of required medicaments for medical centres was really necessary, because frankly to say, their reserves for many items have run out or are totally exhausted.

– For this support we express our sincere thankfulness to the management of Company, – accented Natalia Stepanivna, – and we also hope, that our petition about the purchase for medical centres the required medical devices, namely finger pulse oximeter, cardiograph and glucometer with test strips will be positively satisfied. We need them badly, because if previously at patients’ transfer by ambulance to the hospital, from us was required only echocardiogram, now are also required results of analyses of oxygen level and sugar level in blood.
