Corporation OSTCHEM wants to cooperate with «KARPATNAFTOCHIM»

According to the agreement with Management of «KARPATNAFTOCHIM» Ltd., in November 10 with familiarisation visit at the enterprise was a delegation of Chemical producers of mineral fertilizers of nitrogen group OSTCHEM, headed by its director Sergei Pavlyuchuk.

            After the safety briefing for the representatives of the delegation, which included, in addition to the heads from the central office of OSTCHEM Corporation, the heads and specialists of its three subsidiaries – PJSC «AZOT» from Cherkassy, «RIVNE AZOT» and «SEVERODONETSK ASSOCIATION AZOT», guests, accompanied by Alexander Boletskyi, General Director Deputy on production matters of «KARPATNAFTOCHIM» Ltd., visited ethylene and polyethylene facilities. Here its chief Ivan Fedoriv acquainted them in detail with technological processes of production, with structure of the raw materials, processed on ethylene and polyethylene installations, as well as with modern control systems of technological process management and with emergency protection shutdown system.            Of all the products, the production of which is now provided by the staff of the ethylene plant, the representatives of nitrogen fertilizer companies were most interested in benzene. In fact, the benzene of such high purity, as it was admitted by the representatives of the OSTCHEM group, is needed for them in order to resume the production of adipic acid.  Correspondingly, this substance was a raw material for the production of polyamide fiber.Delegation of OSTCHEM Corporation also visited the units of PVC-S and membrane Chlorine and Caustic soda production. In particular, in the latter, the guests got acquainted more detailed with the work of the electrolysis division, drying and compression of chlorine and expressed a desire to see separately the warehouse of salt.            After visiting the production facilities of the enterprise, the representatives of OSTCHEM Group at the meeting with Ivan Pidsadyuk, General Director of «KARPATNAFTOCHIM» Ltd., expressed their interest in establishing close and mutually beneficial trade cooperation with the largest petrochemical complex in Precarpathian. Besides of that, they would like to implement more modern process control systems and automated protection at their enterprises, adopting the experience of operation from Kalush petrochemists.
